Today I wanted to introduce you to one of my favorite brands, who I happen to purchase from on a weekly basis... Project 7. And although their gum flavors are beyond amazing and offer the perfect fix for all of us with a sweet tooth- their mission as a company is what I love most about them.
Launched in 2008 by Tyler Merrick, this specialty gum and snack brand prides itself on "doing good" around the world. The seven in their name actually stands for the various non-profits/ areas of need that are supported through consumer purchases. Which means the money we spend provides clean drinking water, food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and medication for the sick. It also goes towards stronger education for children around the world and to anti-bullying campaigns here at home. And if that wasn't enough, the company also partners with environmental non-profits to improve the effects of global warming and deforestation. It's clearly a lot to take on, but I couldn't be more proud to support their commitment to change and making a difference in people's lives.
So now that you know why I admire Project 7, let’s get to the fun part- their flavors. I would never had guessed that I would be a “gourmet gum” person, but their Birthday Cake flavor is always in my bag or back pocket. I pick one up every week at the grocery store and/or Target, and I am always on the look out for new flavors. Speaking of which- I am pretty sure that Front Porch Lemonade and Wedding Cake are in my future, along with their “Build A Flavor” Strawberry Margarita. I mean, doesn't that just sound delicious?! And if that didn't grab you, maybe you need a Thin Mint Girl Scout pack (yes, that exists) for a Kettle Pop? There are fourteen flavors available to purchase on their site, so do yourself a favor and check them out. You will not be disappointed, I promise.
Lastly, to the team at Project 7- I absolutely love your product and overall mission. I am nothing but a fan. I wish you the very best as you continue to expand your assortment and make the world a better place in the process. I look forward to seeing what's next...
